Dr Alexander Yakubchuk joined Orsu in 2008, bringing his experience gained in the FSU, Australia, Mongolia, China, Canada, and several European countries. During 2003-2007 he held the position of Exploration Manager for Europe and FSU for Gold Fields. Dr Yakubchuk has previously worked with and consulted companies such as BHP-Billiton, Norilsk Nickel, Goldcorp, Rio Tinto, World Bank and Inco and previously lectured as an Associate Professor at Lomonosov Moscow State University.
Sergeevskoe Gold Project in Transbaikalia, Russia
Orsu is involved into the Sergeevskoe project since September 2016. The project is located immediately west of the +5 Moz Au Klyuchevskoe Mine. New exploration works included ground magnetic and IP survey, trenching and ongoing drilling.
