Martin Pittuck (CEng, FGS, MIMMM) is Corporate Consultant (Mining Geology) of SRK UK, with 20 years of international experience in the industry, specialising in mineral resource estimation, mining geology, mine project evaluation and reporting of Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves according to international reporting codes. Martin is Geology and Resources Practice Leader for SRK’s Kazakhstan office in Almaty.
He has signed-off technical reports and public disclosure of Mineral Resource estimates for a wide variety of commodities and mineralisation styles and is particularly experienced with gold and base metal projects and also specialist metals such as tantalum / tungsten / REE-bearing deposits. Martin has managed a number of due diligence studies for acquisitions, investments and debt financing and has authored resource estimates for many exploration, development and mining properties, many being in Africa and the Former Soviet Union. He has a wealth of experience in managing and undertaking independent technical reviews/due diligence as part of mergers and acquisitions and stock exchange listings, from Junior exploration companies through to major international companies with multiple assets.
